European Tropospheric Assimilation based Analyses

()

Assessment of air quality conditions by data assimilation

On an extended European grid, near surface concentrations of air quality related trace gases will be analysed joining the EURAD chemistry transport model and satellite products and in situ observations. The algorithm is the three dimensional variational (3D-var) method which allows for a best linear unbiased estimate (BLUE).
